The late nights, the constant calls & interruptions, the stress whenever the phone rings.
In 2008 - I was working 70, 80 and even 90 hour weeks in my own MSP, just trying to make a measly $35k a year.

Q - What happens if I decide to cancel my membership?

In all seriousness, things change and so there's always legitimate reasons you might want to cancel (sold your business, cash-flow crunch etc) and we completely understand.
If you ever decide to cancel, you will still have access up until whenever you're paid up to (we're not one of those crappy programs that cuts your access immediately).
Q - Can I use the content from The Tech Tribe if I cancel?
Unlike some other services out there, we're not silly enough to think that you're going to stop using any of the content or templates you've downloaded once you cancel.
So, whatever you download during your time as a Tech Triber - you can keep using perpetually 😎
Keep in mind though that if you do cancel, you'll lose access to the Tribal Portal and so you won't get access to any new content we create.
Q - Can you pay in my local currency (AUD, NZD, Pounds etc)?
We thought long and hard about how we'd setup the billing currency for The Tech Tribe.
And in the end we decided to make all of our pricing in US Dollars 💲
What does this mean?
Even though our HQ is in Australia, a big chunk of our Tribe members are from all 4 corners of this crazy planet of ours and so we wanted to work with a currency that everyone is familiar with.
As the US currency is the most globally accepted currency at the moment (until Bitcoin takes over 😉), we decided to settle on that.
What about currency shifts?
Sure, there will be currency shifts from time to time that will make your membership cheaper some months and more expensive the next.
But the reality is that unless you are one of those unfortunate people who are living in a country with hyper-inflation - then these shifts will be very small in the grand scheme of your business.
And to be brutally honest - if you're worrying about these slight shifts - then you're focusing on the wrong thing (sorry to say, but it's our job to dish out some tough 🧡 from time to time - that's what you pay us for right?)
Q - I'm an Aussie, does my membership include GST?
If you're a fellow Aussie (Tribal HQ is in Australia), then our billing system will automatically add 10% GST on top of your monthly membership.
Because Tech Tribe pricing is based in US Dollars, this means 10% of the USD price will be added to your membership (which still equates to 10% in AUD).
Just making sure we keep our friends at the ATO happy 🤓
Q - I'm a Vendor serving the MSP Industry, am I allowed to join?
Absolutely, we're not going to stop you.
However the Tech Tribe has a "no pitching" policy - so if you pitch your product or service our Moderation Team will delete your post and send you a friendly warning/reminder (first time only).
Instead, we encourage you to offer support, tips, advice, coaching and encouragement in your area of expertise and if we notice that you're being a true go-giver - we will likely set you up with a Forum Signature that links back to your offering so that every time you help someone, there will be a link back to your website!

Q - Is there any commitment, or is it just month to month?
Heck no!
Unlike some other programs out there, we don't want to enforce a commitment term to keep you around.
This means that we need to continually make sure that the quality of our offering stays high so you stick around.

Q - Will your Agreements / Templates work in my Country?
Whilst Nigel is based out of Australia, around 82% of the 1,000's of MSPs that are members are from outside Australia (mostly USA, Canada, NZ, Europe and the UK).
So, we build all our templates, training & resources fairly generically to be (nearly) ready for use in most countries around the world.
However, before using any of our legal agreement templates, you must send them to your lawyer / solicitor / legal team to fine-tune / tweak / approve them before you they are ever used commercially.
This is to make sure that your legal team are happy with them and that they're customized to suit you and your specific business needs.
Ultimately your legal team are the ones that will be trying to uphold them if you ever end up in Court, so they need to be happy with them.
(they will want to check things like local jurisdictional issues that you might need to account for in your local area)
